Lisa Zarcone is our MA National Ambassador & Regional Director for the NE Area for NAASCA. Lisa is also the 2021 Heroine Award Recipient for The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW). She received this award for all the work that she does out in the community helping to bring awareness to child abuse/safety and mental health issues/stigmas. Lisa is also an author of her personal memoir “The Unspoken Truth” which is her story of child abuse written from the child’s perspective.

Lisa will dig into her own thoughts and feelings when she heard the news, that her sexual abuser died by suicide. She was contacted by his daughter, who was also seeking information about her father and trying to gain closure. Imagine being in this position?
